Alumni and former student services include services that were previously accessed through MyIUP. These services can now be accessed using the links in the items below.

Alumni/Former Student Access to Previous MyIUP Services

Review the following items for more information regarding the services you have access to through your alumni/former student account. If you have any questions or issues regarding these services, please contact the IT Support Center by phone at 724-357-4000 or by email at it-support-center@iup.edu

The term former student refers to students who no longer have an active computing account as per the Computer Account Retention Procedures. If you were recently readmitted to the university, your IUP account will be active. You will need to complete a self-service password reset via iaccounts in order to access MyIUP and your IUP email again.

Account Services

If you do not remember your alumni/former student account password, you can perform a self-service password reset via iaccounts. (Note: the self-service password reset requires preregistration of your cell phone. Your data plan will also need to have SMS messaging support to utilize this feature.)

If you haven't already set your alumni/former student account password and you're unable to perform a self-service password reset, you can try the account verification process via iaccounts. After successfully completing the verification process, you can log in with your username and password to access other services, such as EasyPay, reenrollment, and more.

If your phone number has changed or you did not previously register a number, you can register or update the phone number associated with your account if you know your current alumni/former student account password. Only US cell phone numbers can be registered. Text message charges may apply from your wireless provider.

IUP EasyPay

You can access IUP's online payment services by going to EasyPay. Note that you will need to have set your alumni/former student account password in order to access EasyPay and view holds on your account. See the Account Services item for information on how to set your account password through the account verification process or self-service password reset option.

Apply for reenrollment

If you plan on returning to IUP, you will need to apply for reenrollment. Note that you will need to have set your alumni/former student account password in order to access the online application. See the Account Services item for information on how to set your account password through the account verification process or self-service password reset option.

For more information regarding reenrollment procedures, please see the Registrar's page.

Live Mail email account

Any emails sent to your IUP email address will no longer be delivered once your account becomes inactive and will bounce back to the sender with no forwarding email. When your account becomes inactive, your IUP email account and anything saved to your IUP OneDrive account will no longer be available.

For alumni and retiring employees who wish to maintain their connection to IUP, Live Mail accounts are available by request. After you request a Live Mail account, this page will also display your Live Mail username and initial password once the account has been created. Please allow approximately two hours for the Live Mail account to be created.

Live Mail accounts are on the Office 365 cloud-based service. These accounts are email only (Exchange service). Alumni will not have access to Office 365 or any of the Office 365 applications. Live Mail accounts will not retain any emails previously associated with your active student IUP email account.

Note that you will need to have set your alumni/former student account password in order to request a Live Mail email account. See the Account Services item for information on how to set your account password through the account verification process or self-service password reset option.

Request transcripts

Official transcripts can be requested through the National Student Clearinghouse without an alumni/former student account.  Unofficial transcripts are not available to alumni or former students.

For more information on transcripts, please visit the Registrar's Transcript page.

Request Diploma

Alumni and former students can order a diploma.

You will need to have set your alumni/former student account password in order to get a diploma. See the Account Services item for information on how to set your account password through the account verification process or self-service password reset option.
